What is an API connection?
An API connection is an interface that is programmed to interact with an external system and exchange data. The programming interface enables the joint communication of different applications and thus lays the foundation for a simplified and fast data exchange. Validations enable automatic data preparation for printing and the API sends you automated status updates about, for example, the shipment of the goods.

What is an API connection?
An API connection is an interface that is programmed to interact and exchange data with an external system – in this case a web store.
Is a minimum quantity of my products required for a connection?
From a daily quantity of 10 pieces per product, a fully automatic connection makes sense. Before that, it is not profitable for either side. For smaller quantities and to get started, we also have a suitable solution for this. Feel free to contact us.
Which store systems can be connected?
Shopify, Woocommerce and Shopware are the most common store systems that we connect to. Our developers can also connect to any other system.
How long does it take to connect my webshop?
Basically, the connection time depends on the products you offer. It can therefore take between 4 to 6 weeks.
Is an API connection complicated?
Connecting the API interface is easy. We provide you with all the technical details for the connection. If you still have questions, you can always contact our programmers. We are happy to help you.
Do I need programming knowledge for the API connection?
It is an advantage if you have programming knowledge, but this is not a must criterion. So far, we have been able to connect to the API interface with all our customers.
Where is the barcode placed?
The barcode is located on the back of the product or on a separate insert.
How big is the barcode?
It has a 5 x 5 mm matrix with a safety margin of 1 mm all around.
How do I need to provide the data?
You provide us with the print data in PDF format and give us a URL in your interface (JSON) with an HTTPS link from which we can then load the print data.
