What finishes are available?
The products can be finished with silver, copper & gold foil and UV & relief varnish.
How do I create a print finish in InDesign?
In InDesign you have to create the refined area as spot color, 100% solid magenta and set the elements to overprint. You can find the exact settings here
Which machine is used to implement the finishing?
We finish your customer products with our Scodix UltraPro.
What is the difference between UV and relief coating?
The two coatings differ in the thickness of the coating, which is much thicker in the case of relief coating. The UV coating is very flat and barely noticeable with the finger, but it shines wonderfully and enhances the product purely visually. The relief varnish, on the other hand, is raised and noticeable. Likewise, this also shines for the eye.
How long does it take to process print products with finishing?
Due to this further processing step in the production you have to calculate with a production time of approx. 1-2 working days more.
What is cellophaning?
The printed products are coated with an ultra-thin film, which additionally enhances and protects the products at the same time.
What cellophane finishes are offered?
You can offer your customers matte, glossy and soft-touch cellophaning.
Which print products can all be implemented?
We produce soft and hardcover books, posters, business stationery, greeting cards, calendars, folders, brochures and flyers.
What is the maximum print sheet size?
We can implement a maximum print sheet size of 750 x 530 mm.
Which substrates can be used?
We offer picture printing matte, glossy and offset, as well as natural paper.
Which grammages can be selected?
Depending on the paper grade and the printed product, grammages from 80 g/m² to 350 g/m² can be selected.
What is the range of colors possible in digital printing?
We produce our print products in four-color printing (cyan, magenta, yellow and black).
Where is the barcode placed?
The barcode is located on the back of the product or on a separate insert.
How big is the barcode?
It has a 5 x 5 mm matrix with a safety margin of 1 mm all around.
From what quantity can be produced?
We are specialized in the production from piece 1.
Can customer products be personalized?
All print products can be individualized or personalized with us.
How do I need to provide the data?
You provide us with the print data in PDF format and give us a URL in your interface (JSON) with an HTTPS link from which we can then load the print data.
